BRUKS disc chippers with drop feed are primarily intended for chipping of roundwood shorter than 1.5 meters. The wood is fed in through an inclined feed chute, and the chips can be either blown out via a chip tube or discharged through the chipper bottom.
Disc diameters range from 1500 to 2500 mm and infeed openings from 330 to 650 mm. The largest machine produces up to 300 cu.m. chips/hr. of the highest quality.
